A pastry chain, with its origins from Belgium, does have its charms. Breakfast was never my thing, for practical and private reasons. If it ever was, breakfast usually never took this form and structure. I've learnt, to appreciate the aroma more than the coffee. I've learnt, to appreciate bacon in toast, and everything that comes with it. I've learnt, to understand croissant, a little better. I've learnt, to grasp the joy of eating slightly more, with the right setting, right time and right company more than just the food per se.
Another weekend where everything comes to a closure. Finally.
