Copenhagen as one of the oldest cities in the world has its fair share of historic architecture worth admiring. Many characteristic buildings like the City Hall and the Stock Exchange (built in 1600s!) are well-preserved and still in use now. Particularly interesting was the clashing sight of photocopiers and laptops in the ancient City Hall. However, Copenhagen is probably not the best place for tourists as many attractions are within walking distance from the city centre. You could possibly complete the whole place in a day or two. I'm not sure if it was due to the season, the city was eerily deserted over the weekend, looked almost like war-torn to me. Also, all the signs are in Danish, which is scary initially. Fortunately, the locals are friendly and speak excellent English.
I'm not joking. The place was really sparse on a Sunday morning.
