Florence and Queues

There are in fact 3 Davids in Florence. I managed to capture 2 of them, and the last (real) one is entitled to those who bothered to book a meeting with him months ago. The queue was horrendous, I swear, and the waiting time was probably at least 2 hours. You are not allowed to take any photos inside the Accademia Gallery anyway, so it's theoretically impossible to "collect them all". Even Ben & Jerry's had an incredible queue. Where did these people come from?

The sculptures and sights around this little town are still very charming, fortunately.

Rivers are always aesthetically pleasing.

..and kayaking seems to be very popular in Italy.

Another impressive cathedral from the Renaissance. Duomo di Firenze.

Again, what's with the queue?

The only bridge not destroyed during WW2. Ponte Vecchio.

A vandalised stop sign.

And one of the Davids is at the top of Piazzale Michelangelo.

Charming views from there.

The Peace. Beautiful.
