Went to Oxford Street (Orchard Road equivalent) on Saturday. Nice shopping place and we can conclude that H&M offers one of the cheaper apparels. It's interesting to note that the shops keep repeating, so you can't find your way around by the "identify landmark" method. There were like 3 Macs, 5 Starbucks, 6 H&Ms, 5 Zara, 3 Uniqlo...
It was also a 15-min walk to Chinatown near Leicester Square, conveniently distinguished by the chinese lanterns. It's funny that Leicester is pronounced as "Lester" by the Brits, same goes for Gloucester (read gloster). Why the lengthy spelling I wonder.
大红灯笼高高挂!
油条!
Blacklisted! Cheated my money!
More Chinese food we recognise...
Sunday was a trip to Camden Town Market, good bargains for apparels and most importantly food. Finally there's real chinese, indian, japanese and thai food (minus the spicy part).
The "Hong Kong" stall is actually managed by Malaysians selling nice 盐酥鸡...
Creepy Gothic dresses...
I'm Loving it!
