Amsterdam

Only two days in Amsterdam felt like we have seen and accomplished so much. Fortunately, the weed smoke-saturated air did not resulted in too much hallucinations, and the quintessential Red Light District walkabout aroused more sympathy than sleaze. The harmonious co-existence of these with the mild-natured architecture and people presents the liberal and tolerant side of the Dutch culture. Beyond the "vices", Amsterdam is certainly one of the best representation of a cycling city in Europe. Besides the vast tulip fields and windmills, Netherlands is also beautiful for its history with Anne Frank. It is certainly not messy and dodgy. A misunderstanding, do not.
