Edinburgh, and being Scottish

I think there are fundamental differences between being a Scottish and an English. For one, the Scottish accent is different (read: straining compehension). And undoubtedly, no one beats Londoners for being the best "rushers", though equating Londoners to the rest of the people in England is a little bit unfair. While there were obviously working people rushing during the morning peak, the atmosphere in Edinburgh felt more settled and at ease. Probably it was the UNESCO World Heritage Site preservation which made the city so aesthetically appealing.

Old Town.

Edinburgh Castle.

Daily Cannon Firing at Castle. Why people are there.

Athenian Parthenon copycat. Calton Hill.

This architectural marvel appeared on the 20-pound note. So we were there. Forth Bridge.

A parliament that looks like an art gallery. Scottish Parliament.

A demanding climb. Salisbury Crags.

Random Pastries. Cafe Nero.

Indian Food. Surprisingly spicy curry and noteworthy coconut Naan.

The innocent looking white-slab contains mashed sheep's lungs, heart and liver. Scottish Haggis.

Love's in the air, and hill top.

We don't really lack anything. Actually.
