I haven't got the answer yet. I believe it is more than the Eiffel. Given the short stint in Paris, I wasn't able to appreciate its present state, which seems all so gloomy and unwelcoming. As it turned out, pictures cannot lie either. Probably it had to do with my current status that made the task to connect prohibitive. But I guess I should be more open-minded. I am willing to give the city another chance, maybe decades later, when I could be more ready to take on this city.
